The Business Administration Program in TAFE SA Regional offers a diverse array of qualifications from the Business Services Training package aimed at addressing the education and training needs of the Business community.
Information on these qualifications can be found under the 'Qualifications' tab on the menu bar above. We also offer short courses and training in skill sets and in individual competencies when required.
Many of our students return to study to upgrade their skill level before seeking employment. Those who are currently employed may take advantage of our 'Recognition of Prior Learning' process to have their current skills recognised which can lead to the completion of a qualification.
We have excellent employment outcomes and work in close collaboration with industries in our communities. Our delivery and training is aimed at meeting the needs of our regional students and we offer many flexible learning options. These learning options are listed under the 'About Us' tab.
Worldskills is an organisation that conducts competitions bi-annually, both regionally and nationally in many trade areas including Business Services. Our Program (through the Mount Gambier Campus) has consecutively won the last four gold medals in Business Services. This means that currently, we are the national benchmark for business administration skills. Quite a feat when you consider the scope of training offered within Australia.
This win complements the achievements of a Whyalla trainee, who was a finalist in the 2012 South Australian Training Awards (Trainee of the Year Category) and TAFESA Regional winning the 2012 National Training Award for Large Training Provider.
